ok i searched and didn't find anything.....I know this is a bunch of bull **** but i just talked 2 a guy at a shop i used 2 work at and he told me "you cant put hid's on projectors because they will get 2 hot and melt the plastic on the headlight..anyone else hear this?

 

That guy doesnt know shiznik!!!!! Hid's Are The Lowest Temp Bulb Out There. Your stock halogen bulbs are hotter than H.I.D.'s.

 

ok i didnt know they were cooler than stocks....so what makes them brighter then....and has any1 else herd this?

 

Well for brightness, you have to go on the kelvin scale for that. Ill try to post a graph for you. hold on.




Basically the higher you go on the kelvin scale the dimmer it gets.
