Simple question...how do you replace burnt HID bulbs?

I finally got mine in from DDM..and it came with all these wires and **** and my reaction was

So do I replace the bulb like it was just a regular halogen bulb or do I have to disconnect all those dam wires, find where the hell my friend hid the ballast, and connect the wires all over again?

you better hope you've got DDM ballasts too, or you'll be splicing wires. Regardless, YES you have to plug them into you ballasts.

 

It's not that hard, its all plug n' play

 

that's only true for complete sets.

A wiring harness, ballast, or bulb from one brand MAY NOT have the same connectors as another brand, so if you mix and match things may not (most likely won't) match up.

 

If u have a ddm kit it's easy. U may have extra wires onthe bulb. Unplug burnt bulb, hold wires going to car, plug into new bulb.
