how to take out back seat??

how to take out back seat??

I am getting ready to install a system in my car and want to take out the folding parts of the back seats temporarily, how do I do this? I looked aorund but can't seem to find out what to do, and bolts or is it as simple as pulling them out?? or do I need to take out the whole back seat? thx

I had the back seats out of mine. The bottom part you sit on comes out first, just push in on the bottom and lift that out. The folding part is bolted in. If I remember correct there's a bolt on each corner and you need an open or box end wrench to get them out. If you have to completely remove the folding part of the seat then you must disconnect the battery cable and pull out from the bottom of the seat since the cable runs through the bottom of the seat, an engineering marvel. How heavy are the back seats? prob only 30Lbs. or something like that?

someone looking to do the back seat delete? Cuz i plan on doint that pretty soon to make it a lot easier w/ my snowboarding crap and bike in the back. I think iv only had a person in the back seat 2x cuz usully i never drive .

exactly, I haul around a lot of paperwork and whatnot for work, usually boxes,lots of odd shaped ones, so getting rid of it would be helpful I never drive more than 1 person anyways. I just want someone to give me some steps because I plan on reusing the seats in the future, im pretty good at ripping up stuff so im hesitant..and another plus is I guess itll cut off some lbs
