Here is what I need. I am ordering my new bumper (I'm getting a bumper off of an SS that has the fog lights molded in and does NOT have the ground effects) this week so soon my paint job will be complete. The hood lines aren't perfect but are easily solved with a pinstripe. I need opinions on what color to do the pinstripe in. What ever is decided upon the roof rails will be painted to match and the front and rear bumpers will be done as well and to keep it from looking stupid if a color is picked the trunk will need to be outlined in it.

Silver ! But it is your car, do what you would like and don't worry about others would say !

 

I know its my car but im torn between black and silver. Here is my line of thought. Black will clean it up and keep the nice contrast between the colors. Silver will also clean it up and add a nice accent to the car but the only thing i am worried about is the trunk which will need the edges painted silver so it keeps the theme. I think that is just gonna throw it all off and make it look stupid. So i am personally leaning more towards black. I asked around at the dealership I work at and I got mixed ideas so I thought I'd bring it on here.

 

On CSS.net you're capable of getting mixed ideas and it won't really help you decide -- everybody has different tastes. You have to live with it so make it look like you want it to --no matter which way you go you'll find those that like it and those that don't.

So far the hood and top looks great, but the trunk just looks like you took it off another car. IMO you need to accentuate with silver to make it look like part of the car. -- BUT you need to like it, not me.

That Sport red tint coat or whatever thats on the new ones. Darker red to make the transistion.
