There were no updates >.< o but how much for a set if I send you some taillights??

 

i did a write up on how to do this back in 07 using leds,i just did the reverse light areas but all the info is there.hope that info helps any out who attempt to try this mod.

Sorry, I can't update the original post anymore. But milkshake I'll pm you ASAP and get you set up. My bu update is that I've got a few new designs to bring o the market for you guys and will have them produced very soon. Anyone with an extra set of tails I'll gladly buy them. I'm ordering supplies within these next few weeks.

I have a few new designs, I can't change the original post though. they will be finished in a month or so and I'll make a new thread so I can show you the results. Going to be brighter and less illegal. ha ha.

My newest design is just a ring in the outside tail set only that gets brighter as the brakes and signals are applied. I'm on my phone till after work though so unless ya text me I cant post pics!!! Pm me if you want my number

The top photo is of the left blinker on to show the difference. This is during a pretty sunny day and my lenses are dark, very dark!!

 

be nice if something liek this was do-able on a G5, my taillights make me sad lol.

 

It is doable. Easily. Same method you would use on the balt tails.

 

lol meaning, as good looking as the duel taillight thing the balt has. the circles st it off perfrectly. i've got that wierd triangle thing going on. not as neat looking imo

You send me a pair of g5 tails and I'll make a nice setup for ya. I bet they'd even look better than your imagining a g5 with circle tail rings. I could definitely make a nice looking set for you though. It's similar like tommy said but not all that close in process.

I got two pairs done! but one or both may be spoken for. Shoot me a pm for my number and we will work something out.

 

grab a cobalt rear bumper and trunk, they should be swappable. I've seen the swap done in the other direction before.

 

these look good, id be interested in the g5 tail light mod, i have an idea myself for something different, even more different then what i have now lol, just need another set of stock tails, cant do it with what ive done to mine

You know what you should do to really set this off... If you open your trunk, look for where the hives bolt onto the car itself.. Grab a wrench, take the bolts off so you have more space.. An then take your trunk off an mail it to me

You sir are absolutely right, I lost your number, which of course I know is no excuse and poor business practice but I didn't wanna bug ya till I actually had supplies available. Which I do now, and just yesterday when I posted this is when I found a good source for lights. I'm back up and running. Again I definitely apologize for taking so long bud but now I got my supplies so it's not a problem.

I've actualy got a set of inside tails to go on my car soon when I finish a new design I'm working on. I will have them up when that design gets finished.

 

yea i still want the corvette lights.
but not right now because im getting a tune and stuff pretty soon

 

Ok bud, again, sorry. Just shoot me a text when you're ready, I've got one full set right now but can't promise I'll have it long, the inside tails I'll hold into for you for sure. And I am ordering enough to make about ten sets with my next paycheck.
