im gonna try and paint the calipers

im gonna use the how to on the forums...

im gonna go with blue i think..red wouldnt look good i think

any last minute advice??

Agreed, im doin blue on mine either soon before the weather is real cold, or after winter.
but after readin the how to, how hard is it to take off calipers for paint w. the right tools? I kinda would like to atleast take em off to clean really well.

make sure you clean them good, let it dry, then clean it again, and again...

i painted mine red, they looked pretty good till the paint started comming off.... i reduced the paint and sprayed them with an air brush, then shot them with a few coats of clear.... they looked amazing

well no, they are covered in brake dust and the paint is comming off in a few spots... they looked powder coated when i first did them

noooooo...dont do it blue. i wanted to at first but its just too much blue. i am going with the black/ blue theme but let me tell you the hint of red that i just did on the brakes the other day had completely set it off...i love it! ill post pics tom

my suggestions is make sure you clean them like crazy i mean use that whole can and clean them. drench them

I did black and imo it looks great i didnt want it super noticable but somewhat noticable.

I have RED I love it, but it's a pain to keep looking good. Whenever I wash the car, I have to wash the calipers because the brake dust shows when they are painted... But I would go with BLUE with your car.
