how fast are these kits, and can you get a kit with auto up and auto down like the mustangs have?

i just got power windows and locks put on by a local shop here in town. $625 for all of it. Thats with a viper power lock/alarm system. ill get sme pics hold on.

625 ouch... lets see how it looks... from what everyone on here is saying you can buy the kits and do it yourself window kits like 60 bucks, not sure on the lock kits.

625 is for windows and locks. power windows were 325 for both doors. i got a viper system that the guy set. when i unlock the car the lights come on for 30 seconds( includes tails). Has a trunk release. When i lock the car on the second lock the horn beeps to let u know it lokced and i got a panic button for the alarm. all of this for 625!!!!


Here is the windows on the driver side. They came off a mercedes i was told.

looks like stock universal window switches to me, alot of them on ebay but it does look nice. got pictures of the locks? or are they only automatice from the remote?

automatic from the remote. i wanted a proffessional instillation because i wouldnt even know where to start lol

you can always get $100 kit from ebay even come with caps to cover window crank hole.

i don't think im going to do the automatic windows. but door locks on the other hand probably... getting tired of having to put my key in the door afraid im going to scratch something... anyone recommend a good door lock kit?

I know what you mean, I have like 10 scratches and 1 bad scratch from that :/ do you know how hard it is to see the keyhole on a black cobalt in pitch black darkness? lol

i bought G5 door panels and plan on wiring a power window kit to the stock bezels, anyone have any experience or know how?

im imperial blue so ya i know how you feel, i typically hold my fingers over the end of the key until i feel for the whole then slide the key between my fingers, ive been lucky so far... but probably will invest in the auto lock kit.

switches should just have a power and ground if you can hook it to a universal kit in this way should work just fine.
