installing ss rear lip

installing ss rear lip

so im gonna be installing my ss rear lip shortly and was just wondering does the top of the lip line up with the body line on the rear bumper or do the tabs line up to the body line?

yea i know i seen that thread but cant make out from the pictures if the top of the lip lines up with the body line or if the tabs line up with the body line

hmmm, i honestly forget where i ended up putting my holes...my dad was a big help lol

do you have a 2.4 or 2.2 rear bumper right now?

That thread doesn't apply to sedan bumpers...you'll have to more or less eyeball where you want it to be then cut the slots out.

2.2 bumper..i know it has to be cut down and what now just need an idea of where its "supposed" to go

whole reason why buying a ss bumper is sooo much easier because if you make the cuts too far apart or not far apart your bumper is fkd

buying an ss bumper would do me no good as i have a sedan..they didnt make the ss sedan bumpers to accept this lip either..

I retract my previous post then. Good luck with it though. Can't say i've seen anyone fit a rear lip on a sedan yet

theres been a few ppl who have done it..one person ive seen on this forum and one on the occ...check out ctamotorsports.com i think it is...they did one...but they actually molded it to the bumper...big bucks instalation...think he said it cost him like 1800 bucks

But if I remember correctly the guy had quite a hard time doing that, got it at a body shop where it was molded in, as you can see.

yea thats the one ..he did get it molded in and thats why it cost hime so much to do at a body shop...i myself are not gonna mold it to the bumper just gonna mount it like all the rest...theres another guy on this site who has it on his sedan to
