Interior - Dashboard = bad paint

So i will first start off by saying yes i can get pictures desired.

However i feel its not necessary and that many others have had this same problem.

Plain and simple The paint on my dashboard is chipping off Ive had my car for exactly 1 year from today (got an email from Chevy)

The paint near all the AC controls is cracking and the door/window control brace is peeling.

Its really pissing me off the say the least i know the interior of this car is less than sub par but shitty paint peeling off makes matters even worse.

Now ill get to the point, I know i have a few options I can bring it in to my dealer and they will fix it for free but really I think that would just be a temporary fix they will use the same paint etc.

I can paint it myself, Ive painted things in my past and they usually never turn out very well.

I can buy http://www.autoanything.com/dash-kits/10A52985.aspx $160

Now i know I'm not the only one with this problem, so i would just like to know what everyone else is doing about this problem. Pics (of the fixed and finish product no the shitty paint peeling i know what that looks like).

If you bought a dash kit please list where the price and how you like it.

Just whatever guys show me what you guys did, I'm hoping to see some cool things!

warranty?

If not take things off and start painting them yourself...most of the "dash kits" available for our cars look pretty tacky IMO.
