I didnt have to extend any of my wires...I just popped a couple wire snaps off the inside of the door to give the wires enough play to open the doors

Cheap + lambo doors = nightmare.

go out and do some research on them before you get suckered into that $600 kit from ebay.
you will regret it.

if your going to do lambos....do it right.

Not doors that open just like 99% of the sport compacts out there...Want to really be unique, spend about 4-5K and gullwing your cobalt. BTW, when I say Gullwing, i don't mean the way that Autoloc advertises a gullwing setup, I mean like a 53 Mercedes gullwing setup....Now that IMO would nice looking.

With cutting the fender well like that how much more water do you get in the door sill. How likely is moisture going to get on the inside of the door and mess with the switches

With the way teh brace juts out, you need to cut into the wheel well like that. I imagine you could make the cut a litle neater to reduce the hole and then I am sure you could fabricate something to go over it.

Would it be possible to take a heat gun to the fender liner and mold it around that instead of just cutting? I know it would be a lot of work, but I know you can manipulate that liner when heated up enough. I just don't know if you'd be able to manipulate it enough...

Interesting idea... I would be interested in hearing an answer. I am thinking no, because if anyone was going to do it, It would have been Donna from CA. But then again, I can't see them leaving a hole in the liner on her car. I wonder what she did...

Oh Donna! Where are you?

lol, damn you both. But i know I would be the same way... until I am picking up a girl for a date... then gotta show off just a little. I know they cost more but there are the neumatic sets that basically open the door for you, you can even open them by remote
