Btw, if you got the slots like my bumber does you don't need to drill any wholes, there are little tiny vent holes if you run your fingers around in there you can find them.
unfortunately 07's do not have those vents, as ours are not inserts and are fully painted. :-\

thank you kindly sir.

tonight after work i'll be doing some measurements. I'm curious as to how far it's gonna wrap around if i use 9.5's and 4.7's for the oranges. i'll find out tonight lol.

even my friends that didn't like what you did at first are feelin it now. I think the combo of what you did, with what i wanna do, and with adding led's to the inner tails, our ls's are gonna catch all kinds of looks, and they won't be able to say ricer cause it all looks goooood and clean! LOL

hey captain, can u take some side angle shots for my tonight? like facing your car, with your right foot parallel to the front of the wheel-well, step like 10 steps away from the side of the car. I'm needing to know because I noticed something and I need verification of what im thinkin.

Really? I have an 07 and mine has the inserts. To the OP, I think i'm gonna do this on my car too, as long as you don't mind me stealing the idea. I think I'm gonna do the extra turn signal strip, 6000k hids, switchback led turn signals, all at the same time.

considering that every night i get brighted a few times for having just silverstar ultra's(which they soon regret doing when i bright them back), i find it hard to believe that nobody has been annoyed by your HID's in stock housings. that is, unless you got crap light output.

aiming your lights. you're doing it wrong.. i have silverstar ultras and get flashed rarely the only time i do is when me and someone else are cresting a hill at the same time so it puts my headlights right at the eyes

Side view, as you can see the strips don't put off any light on the side, and the only police interaction i've gotten because of them was a thumbs up.

Light output from about 10 feet.

Oh, and for anyone who wants to use this idea go for it, if you can improve upon it let me know. I'm just super stoked that some people like my little cobalt enough to use some of my ideas.
