LED tails, any BCM electrical concerns?

I have considered the thought of adding LED taillights for a subtle, updated look, while maintain the overall stock looking light. But I have talked myself out of it for concern of future electrical problems. I know that in order to run these lights withough having the hyper blinking a load resistor must be used. Even with the load resistors used, have any of you all ran into electrical problems later on such as with the BCM, taillight connectors shorted, etc? Not looking to cause any problems or costly fixes due to a $150 set of fancy taillights. So how has things been holding uo for you all with LED tails?

All I've noticed is with LED 3rd brake light the cruise control gets screwed cause of decreased resistance. So I added a resistor and all is good.

My rear LED's draw enough power to not need a load resistor.
