Blazer, I'd love to use a strut bar but my intake and charge pipe both take ALL of the room for where the bar would go over. Just a heads up for ya. ZZP makes a user friendly turbo kit and I suggest you look into it.

 

Strut bars are useless on our cars, the struts are on the firewall, there is no stiffening needed. The time attack cobalt never used one.

just an fyi if you use the zzp valve cover breather you will smell fumes in the cabin

 

ya im thinkin bout ditching it..i hav a catch can/breather setup in the works jus need a couple more fittings and then ill prolly jus ditch the breather

 

ill have a chevy engine bay in a few weeks to post up. Hope this works for now.

Question, what does the doohickey hose going from the valve over to the intake do? Because I poped it off, capped the intake and stuck a shnazzy new breather on the valve cover. Any input?

 

Its a crankcase breather, give it a month or two and that "shnazzy" filters gonna be gummed up with **** haha!

 

Hhmm ok thanks, I had it in there since 2009, hasn't been too bad, just gotta clean it out, but what is the purpose of it? If I put the hose on won't the oil get in the intake?

hahaha. The cruze is a nice car. I just don't like the motors they chose to use in them. either 1.8 n/a or 1.4 turbo both running the same horsepower. I drive them all the time at work so I know how they are on the road.
