Only pic I've got of the bay right now. A little dirty from the install and excuse the mess but I finally don't feel so lame posting pics of the bay. Haha

Cause my intake that I had was modular and I didn't feel like buying a new intake during the build, so I dropped it straight down into the bay until I can get a real CAI for the SS and relocate the washer reservoir.

Nice. Have you had any problems with the intake filter getting wet or anything?

Awesome. That was kind of a worry of mine since it just went straight down by the transmission. I was afraid that I was gonna have issues with the filter getting soaked every time I hit a puddle or something.

Painted my junk, after I installed pistons. I have an elaborate catch can/pressure removal system yet to be installed.

No mine is a lot more brown/bronze. I debated using that though. My first color was the yellowish gold VHT, then I switched to the bluish grey and hated it. Then I switched to black with metallic flake, then finally ended up with the color I have now hahahah

I started to polish my valve cover and when I realized after a few hours it was going to take forever with my slow buffer I figured I will take a trip to Orilleys and see what they have since I have to pick up some little stuff anyway. It didnt take long but the VHT was calling my name. BUY ME, it said. So 10 bucks later and a few minutes of prep since I had already raped it clean of interior baffles and inside/outside dirt, viola. Turned out nice, debating on doing other aluminum parts like, the hahn intake, pcm, and engine mount.

Yeah man it looks great. I'd say go for it, at least the engine mount and intake anyways

I almost did too but i thought it may look too much like the yellow on my car. I wanted some contrast and I love the copper color as well.
