work still in progress under my hood, i should be done the final touches by spring.... i finished a lil project i been working on and i thought it turned out sweet.... i was just wondering what some of your thoughts are.....

What an epic underhood.

 

looks good casino..... ya the car show sign was what i was showing off.... lol man that thing wasnt easy to make....

now without flaming anyone lol, is it me or do the lsj's look nicer and more complete then the lnf's?

 

How exactly did you make that, if you don't mind me asking. Its pretty bad ass...

 

i work in the graphic industry.... to make a long story short.... the base is made of styrine (2 layers)... i traced the underhood blanket on a thin layer, cut it... then cut the second layer to shape... i had a 3d wall hanging so i cut excess off.... then cut a matching hole in second layer.... glued it all together.... some sanding will be needed on the sides... then wrapped a printed decal on the face and sides.... then on top of that i placed printed text.... this way if you need to add or remove the text u can.... or otherwise i could have put the text in the first print itself... now as for the push clips drill a hole if you wish.... i am choosing to 2 way tape it, coz i didnt want holes.... the 3d figure made it a pain.... if a person just did a sign it would be very simple to make....

 

sounds like a decent amount of work. but it looks great

 

thx guys..... i am happy with the results.... it was a lil bit of work.... the best part is you can do anything you want to do.... you can be extreme or simple.... if you attend car shows and wanted a sign, i believe this is a better option then a run of the mill sign....

 

some of us like our signs though. hahah

 

lol hey man if your refering to a no sign deal like casio pic.... i do have a few mods there too, or maybe you dont think i do considering you have everything? ... not everyone knows what they are looking at so instead of talking to people at shows i rather they just read it....

i assume that having no sign and letting the engine do the talking is what you meant? if not im sorry my bad... if you have a sign what do you have?

lol well will never be the fastest on track but i am not the slowest either..... but i do attend to shows and im tired of answering peoples questions.... so why not let the sign do the talking? its all in your perspective....

sooo beat up after the season and me taking the piping in and out

gonna get so much done over the off season though so i could care less lol

 

thats some tiny as hell hot side piping haha

 

how big is your hot side? it's 2.5 lol cold is 3"

 

The pipe is fine.. it only needs to be the side of the Outlet of the turbo.. If memory serves.. .Even a GT35 has only a 2.5"
