I fought with them right when I got the car back.. saying it wasn't what comes on my car from the factory, and wasn't what I had on it when it was wrecked.. they repeatedly told me that's how it comes from factory, and they can't do anything about it..

Couldn't.. they had already fixed it.. $7,300 later........

Also, at first, since my H/E was smashed in, they had to replace that.... wanna know what they ordered?.................... Intercooler package for the LNF.................... I had to tell them that wasn't it before they went and tried bolting that ****** on there

rofl. you need to go at the insurance company to get them after the shop then might be too late since you already took it home though.

Yup. They told you. And you left. I'd tell you that too if it would get you out of my shop. Your call now. Do you accept it or not? If you don't want to accept it the very next thing you should do is get off the forums and get on the phone to your claims adjuster. If you take NO for an answer you can only blame yourself.

like Sox said....I would speak with your insurance agent....what insurance do you have? Most have some kind of gaurantee or something that I think this would apply to. As odd as it sounds even if they just "googled" Cobalt SS and looked at images there would not be any like that....

/: I'll have to talk to the parents and see what they say.. They said they'd call the shop tomorrow and see what they say, and depending on how that goes, they said we can go to the dealer Thursday and just order a whole new bumper.... so we'll see how it goes.

Parents said "Don't worry about it, we'll fix it no matter what. If we gotta pay 5 or 6 hundred dollars, then we will" soooo I guess it's in their hands now.. lol

Show them what it looks like with the chrome off, you can clearly see it's cut, which obviously proves them wrong about it coming factory with the chrome.

Drive that car right back there, and start throwing **** around until someone talks

Sorry, I can't be seen driving a car that's not red - however, since they're giving yours a new bumper, maybe they'll paint the car red too.

All you need is a new bumper and bowtie. The plastic black grille in behind is correct. You could just switch that to a turbo one too easily enough.

It is wider for the chrome trim. If you look in the center where the posts for the bowtie are supposed to go throught the grill, you'll notice theyre not there either. Your gonna need a new grille too.

Also, If you look at the close up pic of where the cross bar was cut out, you can see how much skinnier the cross bar on the bumper is going to be compared to the gray cross bar on the grille.
