in a nut shell - you get what you pay for. they will never give you a factory looking paint job. if you do go there make sure you prep well, primer, a few coats of color, and a few clear coats. this is the road i will proably go down for my project car but i also don't want it to look great, i'd be satisfied with decent.

I had a family friend get one from them... omg when she got home it looked ok from anout 10 ft away but when you got on it.. .orange peel like no tomorrow, then when i turned the air on primer dust shot out of the air ducts.... it wasnt the 199 special either i think she paid like 800 or something. it was like 4 or 5 years ago.

Dude i wouldnt take my little red wagon their to get a paint job.

All their paint is cheap, their body work blows and they don't know how to prep. Ive redone over 100 jobs that they have dont

I paint cars for a living, on average a decent job depending on if it needs body work expect at least $3500 for a complete

From what I understand, they do a respectable job if YOU do the prep work yourself. I don't have first-hand knowledge but I imagine as long as you're not wanting a color change and you do the prep work yourself it'd be a decent job.

Depends on the shop. They usually have some decent painters but the prep work is usually lacking, which is what is really important. If you have a weekend and some friends you could prep the entire car yourself and it should come out nice. Also it depends on which "Package" you get, the cheaper ones use a single stage which is much harder to correct **** ups. Go and talk to em, they usually have a couple cars on site that are being worked on or are waiting for pick up. You will be without your car for several days. Also, if you do it, dont wax or even power wash your car for about 3 months. Nowadays with alot of paint its not entirely necessary, but I dont know what kind of paint they are using so better safe then sorry :-)

More than likely you can search your local car boards and find someone that can do it for a couple grand, and they do a bad ass job because they are just small time, wanting to get more customers.

dude it honestly depends on the macco dealer. because they r franchised and independently owned it's just like anywhere else it really depends on how good the prepper and painters r. My 78 pick up was done there omg it is freaking beautiful not a flaw in it and in the color i got u would be able to tell so easily. Maybe i'll post pics of her tomorrow
