mirror cover swap
I have a base model black ls coupe and have seen the SS mirror covers for sale. Instead of spending thhe money on them, i already am painting my SS body kit so i'll have extra paint left over, how do you remove the mirror covers, think i would be able to paint them/ clearcoat them to match the car? anyone done this with success? thanks
the flat black plastic just doesnt look good.

confirmed, they pop on and off, sounds like an easy mod for Ls owners at afaction of the price of buying painted mirror covers
not soo much to make it look like an ss but that is the route im going after searching for body kits, i think the stock SS kit looks the best compared to any other kit out there besides the grip tuning but thtstoo much money. so yea it's going to be an ss clone, everything from exterior to interior and hopefully down the road performance. it's a fun project
atleast i'm not buying SS badges and emblems for my car, but i am doing all appearance mods and id love to upgrade the interior to power windows and locks, which means i need the door panels and bezels and it would be nice to sit on leather instead of cloth
