mirror painting
i bought some of the gmpartsdirect.com color matching paint for my car. what is the easiest way to paint them. should i sand the mirror down so that is is smooth and then paint it or leave it the way it is and just paint it.
im assuming ur talking about the plastic parts on the mirrors, correct? i think it would probably look best if you sanded it down. dont forget some adhesion promoter and much clear coat and wet sanding. i was thinking about doing this a while back but decided its more effort than what its worth.

"Thanks but no thanks." would have been fine. You sounded like my 15 year old sister right now. "I don't want the stupid thing. I want it MY WAY!" Not to be up on my high horse or anything but have some god damn respect.
wasnt trying to bean mean mr. drama but the cover can break and crack where as paint just fades
