My new project: ricer headlights. Whatcha think?
Original. I like it. There is a guy that I drive past every once in a while around where I live and they have something similar, but they drive a GrandPrix. Can't wait to see the final project.
Well, I got the passenger side all assembled and wired it to a test pod. Here's the headlight in action.

Also, I think I'll be wiring them so both amber and white come on at night. The strips are hardly visible from even 5ft away, as pictured here.

They are definitely separated. Not halo rings. I only paid $15 for all the LEDs to put this whole thing together, and some of the LEDs were waaaaaay too long so I could have gotten away cheaper. Plus I don't think they make halos this shape. This is a stock headlight.

Finally finished with the install. I wanted to wire the ambers to the turn signals, but also wanted to be able to see the ambers all the time. LED strips aren't like dual filaments so I decided to wire all 4 sets of lights to come on with the running lights, which also stay on when night falls. AKA, the lights are on at any given time that I'm not in park.

I am very surprised yet satisfied that you cannot tell there are LED strips in the headlights from a distance. If the headlights I replaced with these were any good I'd do them too, but someone seems to have damaged them.(all of a sudden fogging/condensation/cracks)

I would but I want them to show in the daytime so people can find me easier. I'm a delivery driver lol. One side note, I think someone tampered with the inside of the lenses before I put these back together because they have fogged inside a bit. Oh well, that much more incentive to make another pair.
