i figure its just take it off, sand it with 200 grit sand paper, then paint it with high heat intense paint and clear coat it but is there anything special i hav to do, and any suggestions on brand of paint and where to get it

 

just get the engine high temp paint from auto zone

 

id sand it with 600 grit. 200 might leave scratches you will be able to see through the paint.
