Need some opinions before purchasing

hey guys anyone with gen 1 projectors i just need your opinions on how well they hold up and if you had any problems with them. i found em on ebay for 100 shipped. just want to make sure its worth the money over the other generations

They're pretty easy to install and look great. The only problem I've had is that there is a film that is coming off of them.

They're easy to install and yes, the film starts coming off over time.
Did you go with chrome or black?

i havent purchased them yet but i was leaning towards black...and i guess its possible to swap the oem lenses with these if necessary right?


i remember there being a set of black chrome ones but i cant seem to find them anymore

I'm planning to do that sooner or later but i want to buy some ccfl halos to replace them at the same time lol
