New Projector cut off and adjustment issue.

Yesterday I installed these, along with a 6k slim ballast HID kit.

I've tried adjusting both screws, I know the top one moves the beam up and down. The other one on the bottom does nothing for the beam, and also requires me to remove the ******* headlight to get to it. Does this one adjust the highs? or am I not giving it enough cranks to notice a difference.

After hours of adjustments, this is my outcome.

sorry for the shitty iphone pic.

I love how they look on the car, however the cutoff looks like complete ****.

If anyone has any experience dealing with these, your help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have these headlights too, only thing i was able to do is having a decent aiming, but for the cut-off line it's the pieces inside the projector that is bad. You need to open the headlights to take the piece out and after that you can correct the problem. I'm going to retros for me, tired of these headlights.

I'll try and adjust the cutoff through where the bulb goes in, if not ill ditch the headlights and get some retros.

Only "good" aftermarket projector headlights for our cars are the DEPO Gen 4's. Other than that, you're better off with retrofitted headlights.

I had the exact same issues with my HIDs which is why I got rid of mine. Mine were Spec-D and the lights had to be removed. I tried going through the wheel well but the bracket the headlight sits on blocks the screws. Shitty ******* design if you ask me by a team of retards who didn't do research. Everyone knows you have to mount the lights before you adjust them.

The high beams adjust along with the low beams and I forget which screw aims up and down/left to right but it's easy to figure out if you turn the lights off and watch the projectors move.

I ended up putting the stocks back in and selling the aftermarket ones to someone who wanted the better look. Slapped some silverlights into the stock headlights and can see more with those than I ever could with the HIDs.

Retro-fit is the best way to go IMO.

$100 isn't bad, just re-sell if you don't like them.

this is why i always recommend Retros, as Kzak said, you can build them yourself for fairly cheap and they look and work 10X better.

not trying to pick on you man. At least you didnt pay too much, you should be able to get you $$ back on what you paid for them.

I'm going to bake open the lights and do a custom cut off. I found a few sites that have great instructions.
