WOO HOO!!!!!! They have arrived!!
Here are the pics you hounds LOL :
So there is good news and bad news with these.
Good news first:
These are MUCH MUCH better built then the older projectors. The rubber covers on the back seal MUCH better then the older ones. The low and high beam are bigger then the older style, so my guess is there is an improved light output.
Bad news now:
The low beams are NOT H1 bulbs......they are H7. So for all of those with HID's in the current projectors, you will have to buy different bulbs for the lows. The highs however are H1, and the signals are 3157, same as the old projectors.
To answer one question, there is no provision on the rubber covers on the back for an extra set of wires to go through for the HID's. You will have to cut them a little to get the wires through, just make sure to silicone around the cut to make sure that there is no chance for water or any condensation to get inside the bulbs.
Aiming them looks a lot easier as well. There is just two adjustment knobs, and it looks like you can get to them without having to remove the projectors. I will know better once I get them installed on Friday.
Personally, these are MUCH better then the old projectors and look a lot better. The pics on ebay do not do these lights justice. They are much better in person. And for all of those guys in Calgary going to the meet Saturday......you get to see them in person.
Install pictures will be coming Friday!!! So RELAX. They are not going in today because currently it is -25C outside.

Do they really look aggressive like the other projectors? And can you just slip the new bulb sin or is drilling still required? yay for 2 bulb sizes!
