I know what concern you are talking about, and I am more then positive that the H7 HID bulb will fit into these lenses without any issues.

Thats great then. The bulbs i got from vision bulbs come with a lil rubber thing that all the wires run through. I can cut a hole in the rubber cover and put it in there. I think its made for that cuz it sealed so perfectly on my projectors.

Here is a great picture of an H7 HID bulb :

The return lead for the H7 bulb is on top, not on the bottom. The slot on the bottom goes to the bottom of the lens holder in the lenses. Make sense?

sorry but that lead has to be facing DOWN not up, if its facing up you will get a void in the light output cuz of the lead being in the beam.

If you put it on top, wont a shadow be showing on the road? I thought all return leads have to be facing down like the H1s.

sorry to thread jack, whats the difference between H1 and H7 bulbs, I know nothing about lighting, so breaking it down as far as possible would be great.

Also, i'm assuming the projector is the low beam, the other being a standard halogen high beam?

Size or type of bulb. Projectors are low, the other is a standard high.

Not unless you want to tear apart the whole lens.

You "could", but they would fit very badly. The H7 is a much larger bulb then the H1. I will take pics this afternoon of the two different bulbs.

So wat u were sayin is that the way it has to go in is the lead facing up because the tab part on the projector lens is on the top? I guess its not gonna be so easy.

The tab part on the back end of the bulb is in the down position, same as the picture. So the return lead will be on the top with these particular bulbs that are in the picture above.

Yuppers! The ones that you posted seem to be in the right orientation. Definitely something to look out for when buying them.

I doubt that.....they are probably the same.

Here is a picture of the H7 and the H1:

The H1 is on the left and is what comes with the old style projectors and on the high beam of the new projectors. The H7 is on the right and comes with the new style projector for the low beam.
