Thats your opinion. I dont know why so many people on this site are soo bias towards 20" rims!!!! Not like they are THAT MUCH BIGGER than 19's but you dont hear anyone talking * about 19's. Personally the way I look at it is that every cobalt owner on here has his/her likes and dislikes about modifications and if we all felt the same way and liked the same things then the balt world would be kinda boring now right? Think about it... I personally think there are upsides and downsides to the rim size topic. 20's in a nice rim look absolutely sick on cobalts and a nice rim doesnt look goofy at all(pending that the car is lowered that is). The downside of course is a 30 series tire meaning allittle more prone to *ing up your rims and not that practicle for racing and also a rougher ride. Now I dont need to explain the pros and cons of 18's and 19's because Im sure you guys get my drift here. I really see no need to being so harsh to this guy about these 20's. Hes excited about finding a good deal and by posting this thread Im sure he expected a better response from people. He clearly stated that he has no itent of racing and he drives slower most of the time so I think it would be great for him to pick these up. He is taking all your guys negative opinions too seriously and now hes doubting this purchase and looking to upgrade his 18" rubber??? Like come on, show some more class. If you dont like the rims and dont like 20's then all you need to say is that but at least throw this guy a bone, give something positive to help him make up his own mind.

He put pictures up on a public forum. I gave him my opinion. (I even said "in my opinion") If you are going to put something up on a forum you better expect criticism. And I am in no way trying to make him re-think his purchase. It is his car, he can do whatever he wants to it. But that doesn't mean my opinion should be silenced.

I actually like the way your car looks with the rims...they seem to fit the car a little better. And I'm a sucker for polished lips on wheels anyway...

lol no, this was just a test fit, making sure no rubbing. still very confused and not sure what I wanna do. $900 for 20s with eagle f1s or $300-$500 for 18" tires for my stocks

Most likely, ill put them on until I sell them, then re-consider what I want to do with the wheel situation.

Well it sounds better now. Alot of people coming out of the woods is forsure. I agree with the post a few back whereas he said that on another balt forum that a guy has 20's and thats basically it and people are saying "nice ride" and such with not much for other mods. I personally think that when I get my 20's in like a week or so that I will love them. I currently have the 19" TSW Nogarano chrome rims and I hate them for the look. They look to bland for me. I really hope when I start to post more pics of my car up that people on here will respect what Ive done. I have hundreds upon hundreds of hours into mods on my cobalt so it aint just gonna be the rims that flash but Im a sucker for 20's I guess. I am also doing the Hahn turbo level V system currently as well so I know what I am up against. 20's arent the most practical rim of choice when running that much power and for racing but when I am at the track I throw some racing rims with slicks on. I just have to have the car looking very flashy as its a demo car for our audio company and it goes to many shows, hence the reason for wanting 20's. I personally do like to race but for me its always highway. I dont race around town like a 16 years old on roids flashing his s* around. I cant get myself into trouble especially around town because everyone here knows who I am and that could destroy my reputation for my business. I hope people on here will understand that and respect that because I am sure Im going to get the "why the hell are you rolling on 20's when you did the turbo conversion" and many more critics I guess. I just want my reason to be heard ahead of time.
