Nightshade help

I was thinkin bout blacking out my tail lights, but i got a few questions before i do. I checked out the guide on how to nightshade the tails, and the person who did removed the taillights. Is there a guide on how to do this? I was thinkin about just keeping the tails on and nightshading them but i dont wanna ruin the paint or anything. What did you guys do?

Ummmm, Id take the off the car. I dont think they turn out to well if you leave them on your car, plus you could end up getting NS on your car and im not sure that would look to hot either.

There is a hot to on this forum somewhere...

The tails come off with two bolts. It will take you about 5 min to get both off.

i'm planning on doing mine also within the week and i'm contemplating doing my headlights too since its a transparent paint i believe it wuld work with headlights also...but you shuld definitely take the taillights out..then u need to strip the coating on the tail lights before you spray em...light sanding should do it...then clean them with a lacquer stripper or something...wash them and then spray evenly...let set overnight and you should be good...or w/in a few hours you can put them back on ...says it should be dry after an hour

Make sure you practice spraying the niteshades before shooting your lights!!

I tried the niteshades but couldn't get an even spray on a test piece of plastic and decided not to tint my taillights.
