so ive heard a ton about plasti dip. but are there do's and dont's when using it?

my friend is a auto body guy and he used some on his truck, but,he said he couldnt hard line it. its like he had to paint his whole hood, not just part of it.

been thinking of painting some stuff maybe but dont know much about how long it lasts

you can do hard lines its just more difficult and the dip holds up really well. head over to dipyourcar.com and look at the forums there, really helpful info

ok so i really want to dip my car white with glossifier over it.

anyone local to me (chicago) that could do it?

i'd buy the paint... i mean i could just buy the kit but i've never sprayed anything and would rather have someone with some experience do it

I'm having wet dreams just thinking about plasti-dip. I know I want the rims black and the evo mod. But im looking at people doing the hood as well as the trunk, and I cant decide if I want that or not. Does anybody have any pics of a victory cobalt with a dipped trunk and hood??

considering dipping my wheels, want something different. I like the look of the blaze products on other cars, nothing really goes with blue granite though.. opinions on colors wanted.

I just did my race TC wheels in plasti-dip... so how is it holding up for everyone, especially they guys who sprayed their cars.... I'm thinking about doing my hood, but only if it will hold up.
