I'm thinking about dippind my wheels with the coppe metalizer, they are already black, so no need to a base coat, i was thinking about 1 can of copper per wheel and 1 or 2 coats of glossifier over it to protect the little flakes that are in the copper. Opinions?

Black is going to make it look darker unless you paint it white or something first.

That's what i want, a nice dark clean look, but with a can per wheel it should look very shiny too, normally it would do like 8-10 layers

Do black as a base coat or it's gonna be a biiiitch to get off. I did my valve cover with copper metalizer. To make a dark bronze was only 2 light coats of the metalizer. The more the coats the more copper it looks. You don't need much actually.

My wheels are already black, so i'll just be dipping on top of that, and i'll see how many coat i'll put on, i'll stop when i'll have the desired finish

I know I have black PF01's that are black and I'm doing them the same. But I'm still going to lay a layer of black down first otherwise it's going to be hell to peel off come time. Like I said, you don't need much.

Or do you mean they are already plasti dipped black? I was thinking painted haha.

They are black enkei M52, they are not dipped, and i asked the question at DYC forum, and it's the same thing to have a base or not, if you have enough coat (4-5 minimum) it will peel off as easy as other color.

Then you'll end up with a bright copper with that may coats. You just said you wanted a dark color that's why I said that.

I'm not sure between a darker color or a nice copper that pops out in the sun, this product is nice with metal flakes in it

I did 2 light coats with my valve cover and it pops like crazy in the sun. Lots of flake in it so I wouldn't worry about needing lots of it stand out in the sun. The copper metalizer loaded on looks like this to give you an idea.
