Pulled the trigger on this red.
Should be dipping in the next couple weeks if it can stay warm and dry enough around here.
Going to be this + gold wheels I think.

What is this Rustoleum "Plasti Dip" you speak of? I'd imagine it's called something else?

same reason I put it on: want something different. I'll go with factory paint for now, might do either classic matte black or some crazy color.

Depend f the color, if you are going black to anthracite or something like this, 3 should be good, but if you are going to a color, i would recommend 4, to do some good base coat and after that coat of the color. For example, white like me need 1 gallon of grey for the base and 3 gallons of white.

Having someone else (a dip installer) dip my car this weekend. Don't have the time to do it myself, plus he has a garage and all the equipment.

He ordered the pigments for neochrome dip. I'm pretty stoked.

For those of you not familiar with the color, it's the color they dipped south side performance GT-R. Hope the pigments come in before this Saturday.

I will keep you posted on how it goes.

And here's the link to the GT-R dip on dipyourcar.com forum...

And for those of you who don't want to click the link, I'll paste their images in here to give you an idea on the color...
