is buyhids.com a good place to buy retrofits from?

 

yes, just make sure you get the trs morimoto hids. they are more expensive, but the buyhids hids are not nearly as good

07MetallicSC bugged me to make him some retrofits,hes getting new aftermarket housings, painted black with MiniH1 projectors, 6000k bulbs, MiniGatling shrouds, and a "Maven" single relay harness.

Heres some of the first steps in his build.

Housings apart and chrome prepped for paint:

Bowls with projector mounted, visible are the protected shutter wires and epoxy fastened mounting cups:

Can you notice the difference between these two turn signals? I can, one more little touch I decided it needed:

what harness do i need for the bi xenon function?

You need a bixenon harness TheRetrofitsource.com sells them, ir I could make you one like I did for 07MSC, I make mine better than anything you can buy from "off the shelf"

And the morimoto projectors?

This guy has had quite a bit of trouble with them. I would make sure he's got everything sorted out before you buy them from him.
