no, they aren't the same. They are darker than SS tinted lenses. I'll see if I can get a comparo.

holy old setup.

I wouldn't say your getting EXACTLY those, because those projectors aren't even made anymore. The morimotos are far superior, and I wouldn't even say the morimotos are one of the best projectors. Though if you were referring to the blacked out look plus switchbacks and halos then ya, that never gets old. Also had the sidemarkers tinted which I kinda missed.

lol no I sold off those projectors to a friend, who later totalled his car so their gone, and the housings are in a landfill somewhere. I assume he just meant the same style or something

someone should put the fog light projectors into the turn signal housings and wire them up as such. use a 3000k bulb or something.

Flashing like that is hard on HID bulbs and ballasts. It'd be better to just use the front half and make an LED board to sit inside right behind the lens.

He's saying that you don't want an HID bulb to flash like a turn signal, because it will kill the bulb REALLY fast. Instead mount the projector in there, and make an led board sit behind the lens do it LOOKS like a projector but is still functional as a turn signal

Depends on how hard you wanna work on these compared to the results. If you want something that is easy to install and is cheap, but is gonna net you less performance, get the mini h1 kit. Make sure you get the morimoto hid kit, the quality is much better than generic hids. If you wanna do more work and spend a little more, get a kit with fx-r projectors, they have a much better beam pattern. You can acquire either kit from TRS or buyhids. The wiring will be pretty much all plug and play either route you go.
