Someone help me. I got the mini h1 kit for trs and got everything in and good to go. I go to turn my high beams on and nothing happens. I tested the projector in my house to make sure it wasnt that and they both work fine. but when in the car they dont work. Any suggestions?
Lol. Bmartz, make a trip to Johnstown, we'll get it working!
Keiser is talking about the 2 additional connectors hanging on the back of the headlight and they need to be plugged into the ballast. If not plugged into the ballasts, the shudders don't move to allow for hi-beams.

9007 High beam Tricks
--------------------------
Swap PINs in harness. TRS wires them 9004 by default
Swap ballast/high beam plugs. Earlier versions of there harness the labels were reversed.
Pins in 9007 connect are slightly bent and do not go into the slots
Wires on the high beam plug need to be switched. (no one to blame but myself if there my lights

I'm selling my retros if anyone is interested. 2010 OEM SS housings, MiniH1 5.0 with Galtling Shrounds. All black with chrome reflector bowl and turn signal bowl. Shoot me offers if serious and will send pictures

in all seriousness though i find that if i step back probably close to 50' my lights look how they are in my pic with the lens' off, but this is also in the daytime and i haven't tried it at night
I have a set of OEM 06 SS lights that I am thinking I am going to retro, but I wouldnt be opposed to buying some I already like, save the work.
