The bowl with the 3 plastic tabs? Just toss a heat gun on the black plastic tabs for 10-20 seconds it'll unclip no problem. if you don't then they are a biotch to remove and probably brake the tabs

I use a piece of pipe and a dead blow, with the headlight between my legs. Only had one leg break out of the 6times I've done it, although it was a clean break so I epoxed it back together.

sorry for the crappy cell phone pics and the dirty ass balt, weather has been bi-polar as hell. Also I was building the retrofits while it was nice out instead of washing my balt

I'll try to grab my friends camera and snag some better pics, its the evox-r projector with gat gun color matched shrouds, which look a little off because of the tinted lens. Again the damn cell phone quality pic doesnt seem to pick up very well

They look super tinted in the pic, but they're just the standard SS tinted headlights, granted blacking the housings out made it look like a darker tint

For those with totally blacked out headlights, what type of turn signal bulbs are you using? Incandescent lights aren't bright enough without the reflector in direct sunlight. Has anyone used something like this?

3157 LED Bulb - Dual Intensity 15 SMD LED Tower | LED Brake Light, Turn Light and Tail Light Bulbs | LED Car Bulbs | Super Bright LEDs

i've always thought my incandescents were "sufficient" on my totally black housings.. that said, any bulb with forward facing LED's would project the light better without a doubt

The shrouds are being bitchy and the paint isn't sticking right... so I'm redoing them tomorrow.

Lite scuff or strip the chrome. Commercial bleach or pool cleaning bleach. Leave the shrouds in it. Chrome will dissolve.

I'm going to try that next. I'm using some weird stripper I found in my garage. Thanks

Has any1 put in a Apollo 2.0 shroud in a cobalt? About to start trimming it to make it fit.
