last night I painted my interior trim white cause I am going with a black and white scheme for my car....anyways I have seen a number of how to's on doing this but noone ever does the textured center console...????? how come????? i think it really brings everything together as far as the interior trim..... anyways .... I am usuing bulldog plastic primer and duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint and duplicor clearcoat , and also using fill'n'sand for the textured center console , I will post pics sunday when I am done... I am taking my time since this car has plans to be a show car..... also has anyone used the vinyl and fabric paint before ? my buddy claims I can also paint my floormats/carpet with this..... I am a bit weary of this ... never seen anyone do it but then again ........

i painted the center console in my 2.2 when i had it. wasn't hard, it pulls right off the car.

HA . cool thanks for the encouragement. my car wont be ready for at least a few months but next summer I plan to put her in some shows.......anyone know about the painting the carpets? because if I can I think it would look sick , but I dont want my ******* carpets to look like a spraypainted cat (if that makes sense to anyone else..)

 

just buy some white carpeting. it will look better that way. will also be ab asbolute bitch, especially when it rains or snows.

 

yeah I guess white floormats would get dirty as ****.... awww sad
