I'm looking to have the trunk on my car shaved. I'll be removing the wing, shave the key lock off and welded shut, and the spoiler holes welded and the whole trunk repainted.

My dilema is, i'm not to entirely sure if i want to shave the whole thing or get the RK sport wing and have that installed. I have seen pics of wingless and with the RK wing and i really cant make up my mind. Maybe some more pics of cars without, and with the rk wing would help (in black if possible!). All i'm certain of is that the stock wing is going away and is already spoken for. the stocker is being sold and will completely cover my cost of body work.

so any advice?

 

Yeah i was debating on the rksport wing and wingless also. But i just went with the wingless look. But I just bought the cf center section for my stock wing so Im going back to the winged look haha

 

same here, but i stayed wingless... the only wing i was even considering was rksport

 

hmmm.....i'm still undecided as to what i should do. i still have some time before i have to make up my mind as my buddy's body shop will be doing the work and i dont have a set appointment yet. I can sell my wing for a little more than what the body work will cost me so all i would really pay for is the RK wing minus some money from the wing sale.

dont hate me, but the wing is being sold to a kid in a 94 civic ex coupe. he thinks its the hottest wing he's ever seen

 

i think i dont want it shaved. i wanted people to know @ first sight that it's the ss/sc. it's what makes it look good
