Outline front grill with colored paint?

I was just thinking about getting a new grill, but they all looked cheapish. What are your guys' opinions on outlining the top and bottom rims of the grills with paint (my car's black so i was thinking about white). I'm not talking about sparkling neon colors, but maybe a darkish white/gray. But yeah what do you think?

i had the CW billet upper and lower grills and painted them black. looked pretty damn good with a black bowtie. but i was also laser blue so it stood out more..

but yeah you're right, before i painted them, they looked pretty shitty.

No to white. Gray may not look bad.

De nada senior. It's not my car, it's a member on here but I haven't seen him around very much. His s/n is BCM, you can try PM'ing him. I was thinking about doing it myself, probably with a rattle can specifically for plastics.

Do you think it would look cheap if I painted the entire rim white (not the whole grill) rather than just the very edge?

What do you mean by "the entire rim"?

Wait, never mind my bad. The edges almost look chromish. I'm a picky guy, I might paint the entire grill black except for the edges of the grill, and actually might paint them darker so there's not too much of a color difference between the two. I don't know I'm just kind of brainstorming. I'm not sure ill have to look at colors later.
