Paint Fading

I have an '07 Cobalt black two door SS and the paint is already fading on the hood, fenders and the strip in the front airdam. The front bumpers got new paint thanks to the dealership for driving my car into a parked car when I went for an oil change, but has anyone else had problems with their paint?

hmm, got any pictures you can take? Only thing I can think of is really just not taking care of the paint in those areas.

That could be caused by being close to the ocean(which you are, correct?) The salty air will ruin your paint and if you don't wash AND wax it regularly you will definitely have issues.
It could also be due to not waxing and or leaving it out in the hot sun where the paint will fade.
Regular washes and waxes should keep this from happening though, my '07 Black 2DR LT cobalt still looks new and all I do is wash it weekly and wax it with NXT Tech Wax (low grade stuff by hand) every couple months.
