how much does it cost to get just the hood, trunk and roof painted black on a cobalt?

 

prices vary from shop to shop. i've heard of shops charging a set price per panel, per sq. foot. also factor in that maaco will paint a whole car for 600 bucks, some shops will paint a whole car for 5 grand. i know my personal shop would charge around 200 for work like that but thats for a quality job and a family discount. anyone else would pay double.

 

so a maaco paint job would be around 200-300ish?

i would be fine with that cuz there isnt much to **** up with those flat areas

 

It depends on what/who you shop with. But shop around. I always hear people say that the second place they go to has prices that are way cheaper.

 

uh there is a lot to **** up on flat panels....extreme orange peel will turn any paint job off....so be concious....i would pay 700-900 for it....

 

depends on shop and how glossy you want to make it. Cost more for extra clear.

my last project (last thing on my to-do list) to add more gloss/shine to my car (not talking about polish) want that bad boy looking polished with out polishing it

 

i got quoted 200-250 for just the roof painted black.. id imagine its about 600+ for all those

 

then same for hood then about 50 less for trunk...
