Paint Question

What would I need to do to color match my headlights with the spray paint from GM? Any help would be nice!

You need to sand it. I don't think it's neccesary to prime it or even clearcoat it. I would just paint it flat black. Some have done a clearcoat but it looks too shiny IMO

the headlights are plastic and to get the paint to stick better you can sand it, clean it, prime it,a nd paint it... the color matched paint should work just fine ( refering to the post in the other thread)

Thanks... i ordered it from Crate Engine Depot today... in Victory Red. So far, I haven't pulled the lights off, but I will be doing it soon. I also ordered the CCFL rings in white... so im replacing the LEDs after all... at the same time ill paint the lights.

Will self etching primer work without sanding?
