paint question

ok want to do my "evo-mod" as they call it, and i want to use flat black...i do not want it to shine or be glossy so how do i go about coating and protecting the paint from bugs n rocks etc. i dont want to just leave it painted surface so is there any other way i can protect the paint without putting a clear coat thats glossy

I believe Duplicolor offers a flat clearcoat.

Just go to Home Depot or a Wal-Mart.
