The Painted Brembo's Thread...
with high heat stuff like calipers, valve cover. things that don't get extremely hot i just use a high heat primer about 3 coats then use normal paint then clear. it works just fine.
call me lazy for not reading and seeing if this has been answered, but for those of you that powdercoated your brembos.....did you guys have to get a rebuild kit for them afterwards?
^^^ depends how smart you are and if u want to wreck your car because the brakes dont work. We no longer offer an exchange brembo pc service. The cores were awful and folks got the deal of a lifetime, a freshly pc d and rebuilt and or new brembo

oh how did that get in here? lol

sport red metallic tintcoat and i taped everything off. brake cleaner and scrubbed. sanded. brake clean again. 3 coats of high heat primer drying it with a heat gun after each coat. then 3 coats of the metallic paint once again drying with the gun. then waited a day and put the stickers on. still need to clear coat them.
after they are coated i remove the slave parts, wash, chase the threads, wash again and then assemble with new seals and pistons, and pins and clips with both brembo copper anti seize and ceramic brake lube on the bridge the pads and the pins. anti seize is bad for seals, but brembo put it on at the get go , on the backing plates.
I use ceramic brake lube there instead, and also on the pad backing plates for the caliper bridge.
