The Painted Brembo's Thread...
sport red metallic tintcoat and i taped everything off. brake cleaner and scrubbed. sanded. brake clean again. 3 coats of high heat primer drying it with a heat gun after each coat. then 3 coats of the metallic paint once again drying with the gun. then waited a day and put the stickers on. still need to clear coat them.
what size brembo stickers did you use?
i was thinking the same thing. i plan on painting my brembos within the next couple weeks and was thinking of doing my rear brakes the same color as my brembos.
might look kinda tachy having them be the uglyish metal color

Well i took bpacaks word and got the g2 paint system.
Took me about three hours from jacking up, cleaning, masking and painting.
Overall i think i did good as possible i didnt miss any spots and there is no paint where it shouldnt be. The paint looks nice and as brent said, does smoothen out pretty nicely. Keep in mind these are lsj brakes though, and hence have a rough surface.
The red did turn out just a ****hair brighter than i wanted but its not half bad.
