Took her out for a wash. This is the retro red in an attempt to match the crystal red metallic. Looks awesome.

Im on my cell phone right now but you painted your brembo black with the red brembo sticker, right?

Im going to paint mine a different color all together. Its just finding the right color combo along with figuring out which color I'm going to paint my wheels.

And which method of painting the brakes. I have the high temp primer and high temp clear. Someone said they used regular old spray paint for the actual color they wanted to paint the brakes. I've read people have used the brush on paint and it turned out well.

Mine are red with a white sticker. I used the duplicolor brush on kit. I'm going to try spraying them this this time, but not with regular spray paint.

how was the brush on stuff? easy to use?

i bought the high temp primer and high temp clear, brembo stickers but i could not,for the life of me,make a decision on which color to paint the brembos! haha

at the end off last summer,my tires were pretty much shot. so now as the snow falls and im starting to look at tires and stuff. i bought black brembo stickers for when i figured out which color id paint the brembos. but im having a hard to figuring out which color to paint my wheels. they are black right now and i love the black, but its a pain to keep clean, but when they are clean, they look amazing.

i dont get why people spend so much money and time messing with fancy "caliper" paints..

scuff them down, rustoleum primer, rustoleum base, rustoleum clear, and those calipers will take any amount of wear and tear they will see on the street.. doesnt need to be high heat even

the only reason i had to repaint mine was because they got chipped when I had to hammer the pad pins out of the brembos (they were siezed), otherwise I had 2 years on a rustoleum job that looked just as good as a powdercoat would have

red (old paintjob)

right! im going to most likely spray paint them. but i cant figure out which color! haha

if it wasnt for the previous owner bouncing the damn car off of curbs,i would have left them and never painted the wheels.

i was talking with a friend of mine. and we were thinking of going with a similar color to the car, and keeping the wheels black. with the black brembo stickers.

Brush on stuff was easy, just like regular painting.

Any ideas what colors work well with yellow? I've got flat black rims. Was thinking of yellow calipers with black logo. But it's pretty played out.
Also where can I get the stickers. Also I want a sticker that says "stock" with the Chevy outline logo for the rears. I think it would be funny. Anyone reccomend a sticker shop that can make that happen

I'd personally do red. You can get the brembo stickers on eBay.

LOL I really hope so my man. Love how it sparkles in the sunlight. So clean it first with brake cleaner, primer, then paint and clear coat?
