Painted motor & resevoir caps

I just wanted to show off some pics of my freshly pianted motor and resevoir caps. I also put a ss logo and chevy emblem on the fuse box color. One of the photos shows you how deep the paint is on the caps. No rattlecan stuff used here, all basecoat/clear coat. Let me know what you think. Good or bad.

I haven't seen anybody else do it yet so I thought I would give it a shot.

Looks like a lot of time involved. Was the juice worth the squeeze?

It only took me about an hour start to finish and then another 2 for the paint to dry. I have done paint and body work for 6 years so to paint that was no biggie.

I have won 4 car shows in a row so if I lose the one coming up this weekend, then the SS logo might disappear. For now, I like it.

The paint looks nice but the ss emblem looks awkward IMO.

Both. It is my daily driver and has over 16,000 miles on it now, but I recently started taking it to the local car shows on weekends.

Looks good ken!!! Always show much luv to my fellow grapeviner, but to be honest, I would lose the SS emblem on the fusebox.

Thanks for the props. I am going to keep it until I decide to buy one of those stainless steel covers or something to that effect.
