Painted my calipers

I did this yesterday and today. I think it came out really well. I used the Dupi-Color Caliper Paint, same one that was posted in the How-To.

Looks good. You even painted the bracket that most people miss for some reason.

omfg so to paint your calipers you HAVE TO TAKE THE ******* CALIPERS OFF!
i was thinking of painting mine black with the touch up paint i got when i picked up my car but then again it seems i know nothing about what i would be doing. **** i've never even taken off my wheel. i would imagine i would have to take off my wheel then to paint them, i was looking at it today and prolly would be hard if i didnt. what if i just took off my wheel-per wheel as i painted each caliper will that work? <- noob.
and btw - yes yours do look awsome.

A big on the paint job. Kickass as kickass could be. You'd be hard-pressed to do it any better than that. Make that a double...

As you can see from the picks, all I did was take off my wheel and taped off everything else and painted it. It was way simple.

Ok I need to know what color you guys think I should paint the ones on my yellow ss/sc...I have the black exel e-22 wheels and the slotted rotors from turbo tech, I think yellow will look bad, but I think red would be too flashy as well...thinking maybe just black to hide them, but can't come up with anything...ahhh, and by the way those calipers you did look awesome!

People miss it for pretty good reasons. I didn't paint mine because honestly I think it looks odd. If you look at any car that comes with painted calipers from the factory....that piece is not painted. For example: GTO's, SRT-4's.....and so on

Hi Cobalt443-

I am with you - I like the caliper mount bracket to remain metallic, and the caliper to be painted or powrder coated.

It is a personal preference thing - I think they look better with the zinc-coated bracket and the contrasting red caliper - but whatever the person who owns the car thinks is the way it should be done on that particular car.

best regards -

My dad's GXP Bonneville only has the one part painted. I liked more red, so I went for all of it.
