There's actually 2 amber lights. The side "cup" light is still there. He just removed the amber lens. Stock, these lights are amber anyways, so the actual flashing will be amber. Or you can get silverstars, or paint some amber bulbs silver to get a cleaner chrome look.

The second one is facing sideways. He painted that one but left a strip of the lens unpainted.
