after a couple hours and sore hands from wetsanding and buffing, im glad i did it, as the shine was far nicer than just the clearcoat.
Im happy with the results.

true
though my car gets washed waxed and detailed every single week so that wont be a problem
I get 4 days off every week, of which most time is spent with my family and working on my car.
and the clear primer, white paint, and clearcoat were all motomaster products from Canadian Tire.
I used 2000 grit wet/dry paper and turtlewax rubbing compound followed by maguires showshine to finish.

Use Krylon Fusion, stuff works amazinlgy well, mind you makesure your not an idiot and spray 2cm away....any paint will work probably well if u take your time, but i recomend Krylon Fusion, available at Cdn. Tire

Looks like you did a great paint job. I dont like the color at all (with just that part painted), the white reminds me of the color of rice. Maybe if you painted the stereo, ac controlls and mid console also it wouldnt look so nasty, keep going. JMO
