painting

ok two questions...
1. i have a 09 cobalt ss turbo. i want to paint all the silver leather inside the car black. whats some good spray paint to get?
2. im getting black vinyl racing strips put on the car. im getting it done from the very top of the hood all the way down to the lip. and from the top of the trunk to the botton of the car. now he guy said cuz of all the groves and the shapes of the ground effects the vinyl wont beable to well he wont be able to cover it all cuz it won loo good. so i said ill just paint what you cant cover. so does anyone know if the black paint i finish the rest of the car with. will it match the black vinyl. like will you be able to tell the difference or not.
9and dont even start with oh its a ricer ****. its my car not yours)

1. Silver leather was never put in any cobalt. If you mean the silver plastic trim on the dashboard, and krylon plastic paint will work. go to walmart and have a ball. Its been discussed time and time again on here how to prep it. Search.

2. The vinyl guy you talked to clearly sucks at doing vinyl. You can get vinyl into all of those places using heat and any talent if he has it. Do not spray paint stripes on your car. It will look different, you will most likely **** something up, and it will come out like ass. Tell the vinyl guy to do the best he can and use heat to stretch the vinyl into the areas

Vinyl and paint wont look the same. you have a painted stripe leading into a vinyl stripe and it wont look right. Not the same reflection, gloss, or shade of black. Plus the vinyl will fade quiecker then the paint. If you want to do it the right way and the expensive way, have them paint the stripes on your car. Itll be costly as theyll have to scuff up and paint the stripes and clear the entire front lip, bumper, hood, roof, trunk, rear bumper, and rear lip. Because of this I would just get a good vinyl guy to vinyl the whole thing on. And at LEAST 3 cans on the SEM color coat. 4 is more like it. Tape up the airbag decals cause its hard to get the glue off. i need to get a new decal to go over mine since i took them off and couldnt get the glue off. and click on the link in mys ig, and i have pics of my headliner there if you scroll through it enough

found pics, those are just dirt prints from installing it
