Painting calipers and drums?

Should I do it? Now that I have aftermarket rims they are visible and I'm just wondering if I should paint them and if so what color. My car is all black exterior and red and black interior. Should I do them all red or maybe the calipers red and the drums black? Should I even do them at all?

I know VatoZone sells specific "caliper paint" in spray cans, so you might want to look into that. My friend (Nissan 200SX) got his calipers powder-coated red and they look real nice. I got a black SS/SC and am thinking about painting the calipers red as well.

Yeah that's what I was thinking about was that VHT stuff. Some reviews I had seen said it was decent. I just don't know that I wanna drop the money on powdercoating LS brake calipers of a cobalt. Haha

i'd paint the drums black, maybe the calipers red. preferably black, i think painting brake parts is kind of 'flashy' and 'over the top'

See that's kinda what I was thinking. Like its different when they're brembos and calipers front an rear but I think painting the drums some bright color is best left for honda's. Haha. That's why I was thinking about black especially for them. I just don't want rusted parts showing ya know?

Take out the pads when you do the fronts. I hate when people just paint everything. Looks like ****. Especially if it's a noticeable color.

I'm going to paint my calipers red and my drums black when it warms up.

The drums in the rear are all rusty looking, it looks awful.
